3 Water Front Houses Projecct, Bosphorus

  • PROJECT CONTENT: Design and application project.

DESIGN CRITERIA:

This is the renovation project of three adjacent waterfront bosphorus houses in Ortakoy, one of the most prominent areas in Bosphorus. The exterior facade is built exactly the same way as original facade in order to comply with heritage laws to protect the historic status of the building. Interior layout is designed by JK Mimarlık according to the owners needs in the most appropiate ways.

In this large scale project, various different ideas and forms are created during the design process. From the materials to the patterns of the ceiling followed by colour tone harmonies to the decision on the furniture styles and custom made products, every little detail had been thought by the interior designer.

Although the most functional, comfortable and usefull decoration units were chosen to reflect the water front houses magnificence, we avoided exaggeration and excess.
